Requesting an inspection
Inspected listings get more enquiries and better offers because buyers trust them.
- From the listing in your portal press Request inspection. Choose a preferred date and say where the vehicle is.
- The team assigns a mechanic near you. You are notified with their name and can agree the exact time in chat.
- The mechanic goes through the 22-point checklist (engine, drivetrain, brakes and suspension, electrical, body and frame, documents, road test) and takes photos.
- The report is published on the listing with a verdict: Passed, Passed with notes, or Failed. You cannot edit it.
- The inspection fee is invoiced when the report is published.
A failed report is still published. Fix the issues and request a new inspection, or price the vehicle accordingly.
